Producing boundary pushing fabric patterns since 1875, Liberty is an iconic heritage brand recognisable around the world for its textile patterns and prints.

The founder, Arthur Liberty became involved with the two art movements of the late nineteenth century; the Aesthetic Movement and the Art Nouveau.

His wish was to influence the public's taste by giving them the opportunity to buy beautiful things.

By the 1980s Liberty Art Fabrics were well known for being one of the best for textile, lending themselves perfectly for Soft furnishings such as cushions, curtains and blinds as well as upholstery fabrics for your sofas and chairs.

Our Top 3 'Don't Miss' Liberty Fabrics:

Ianthe Flower - Original

Ianthe is Greek for purple or violet flowers, this suggest's that when this design was originally created in around 1900 by well known French Art Nouveau designer, R. Beauclair, the flowers in the design may have originally been drawn from violets. The print was then later redrawn by David Haward's Studio.

The stunning details with red and blue colouring work great with this linen and cotton blend fabric, A true, timeless reflection of Libertys heritage.

Fresco -Lagoon

Inspired by British landscape architect William Nesfield, with his imaginative approach to a classic English garden. The Nesfeild collection celebrates botanical beauty with vibrant colour palettes and illustrative designs.

Fresco was painted with inks of flowers from a garden in Saint Solin, France, that is left to grow wild for ten months of the year. It is represented beautifully in this multi coloured fabric display of foliage and flowers, with an abundance of detail. This design is a piece of artwork in its own right.
